would take one child by one, smash his head with a hammer, and push
the body into the pit. all that, he (Danon) and other inmates witnessed
looking from the distance of 30 meters.”
The book “The largest present day crimes” by Dr. Dragoslav
Stijakovic, on more than 500 pages gives descriptions of Croatian and
Muslim atrocities, giving names of the torturers, killers, rapists and also
the names of places where victims have been buried. The most striking
are descriptions of slaughtering of pregnant women from whose wombs
the unborn children were taken and slaughtered, or the description of
rapes of very small girls, school girls and young women. all these crimes
were committed by ordinary Croatian and Muslim men.
radomir Bulatovic writing about “Concentration camp Jasenovac”
gives a vivid description how small children aged 6 months to 6 years
were cut in half at Vranogorsk on 30th august 1941. He also witnessed
in 1941 when 700 Jewish children from osjek were taken and sent to
auschwitz. Slaughtering of children occurred in Sisak on 3rd august
l942 and it lasted until 8th of January 1943.
In his book “The Independent state of Croatia” Vasa Kazimirovic
quotes a number of comments in the reports of german officers. for
instance: Capiten Heffner von glez Horstenau wrote on the 14th
June 1941: “In a beastly way they killed even the newborn children…
many children and women had the plain stone as their bed… naked
skeletons… the commanding officer is a savage beast… they raped
women, torturing them and killing at the end… they killed children.”
J.Wuescht in the book “Jugoslavien und das dritte reich” wrote that
Croats murdered 11 194 children under 14 years of age at the Kozara
region… at Susnjar Croats put 20 children in a hut and burned them
alive on 14th September 1941…on 4th august 1941 Croats raped girls
forcing their mothers to watch…”
Writing abut Croatian atrocities Dusan Babic explained that in the
5th camp in Jasenovac for extermination of small children, children
were separated into four groups. In the first group were newborn
children up to the age of one., in the second group were children aged
one to four years, in the third were children aged four to eight years
and in the fourth group were sick and disabled children. It is estimated
that more than 75.000 children lost their lives just in this camp.
a very important book “Jadovno Complex of Croatian Con-
centration Camp 1941” was recently published by Croatian author
Djuro Zatezalo. He wrote the following: The Croat ustasha State, all
its agencies, from the ustasha organisation political and military and
police organs, to the State administration, Juridical and other organs
were engaged in organised genocide.”
Serbs and Jews were brought with the aid of state military police
and Party organs to be destroyed.
Incarceration and destruction of people in concentration camps
started even before this system was “legalised” on 25th november 1941.
Men, women and children were captured at their homes, in the fields,
at their working places, in churches, at the funerals, at schools, on trips
and all they were tortured and killed in the most atrocious way, just
because they belonged to another faith or nationality. leaders of the
Communist Party said: ”these crimes disturbed the fillings of the Croat
people and stirred hatered between the brotherly Serbian and Croat
people… for instance, members of the Propaganda department of the
Communist party in Karlovac, who have written about massacres
of Serbs were put before Partisan Court Marshal and sentenced to
death on 13th and 14th July, 1944 and executed… an important role in
spreading and strengthening ustasha organisation in Croatia was
played by collaboration of roman-catholic church, in particular the
“Catholic action” and its organisations like “Crusaders” etc… The
archbishop of Zagreb alojzije Stepinac issued a circular on 28th april
1941 welcoming the establishment of Independent State of Croatia, not
only as a son of the Croat people but even more as the representative
of the Holy roman-catholic church… Croatia must be a pure Croat
living space. Serbs and Jews must be exterminated because they are
the greatest enemies of the Croat people, for whom there is no room
in Croatia.”
according to the american resources, more than 1.400 roman-
catholic prtiests and nuns personally used to kill, slaughter, poison,
torture, rape and forcefully convert into Catholicism Serbs, Jews and
roma. Dr. Milan Bulajic, the late coo-rdinator of the International
Commission for the truth on Jasenovac collected 1.171 name of roman-
catholic priests who were murderers.
It is not possible to give here all the names of these criminal priests
who were murderers but I shall mention only some of the names:
rev Dragutin Kukolj
rev nikola Masic
rev Josip Bujanovic – pop Jole
rev Mihovil Marber
rev Stjepan gabric
rev Krsto Jelinic
rev ljubo Magas
rev Vladimir Stuparic
rev Josip Banic
rev grga Starcevic, and more than 1100 other priests.

Dr Nikola Nikolic, Croatian physician and inmate of Jasenovac in his
book “Jasenovac camp” described many atrocities of friar Tomislav
filipovic-Majstorovic, fully dressed as a priest, who used to slaughter
small children. fra Dr Srecko Peric standing in front of the altar at
his church ordered:” Croats, go and slaughter all Serbs, but first of all
kill my own sister who is married to a Serb. When you finish killing,
come back to the church and all your sins will be forgiven. on that 20th
of august 1941 more than 5.000 people lost their lives. fra Dr. Petar
Berkovic dressed as a priest used to kill Serbs with a gun. In a letter
that he sent to the Croatian government Ministry, which was found
after the WW2 , he described in detail crimes that he commited.
The Italian newspaper “Il Temp” published on 1st May 1941 that Fra
Simic approached the Italian general of the Sisari Division and told
